A pandemic highlights the obvious risks associated with greater urban density, but Anthony DeDousis in City Commentary took a dive into the data, finding that poverty and overcrowding are the biggest contributors to the transmission of COVID-19. General urban density was a weak predictor at best.

Adding to the whiplash after the first wave of COVID-19, Urban Turf found that after a 20% dip in April, DC home prices are returning to their pre-COVID levels.
