New Research

In an article in the Journal of Nursing and Regulation, Spetz et al. examine regulatory barriers that may prevent advanced practice registered nurses from providing opioid use disorder treatments. They find that “requirements that physicians oversee APRN prescribing of buprenorphine may have slowed the growth of the opioid treatment workforce.”
